With over 30 years of experience, Darren is a leading expert in deploying, managing and servicing tracking and traceability solutions for public and private hospitals across the UK, Ireland and international groups in Europe, South Africa, North America and Asia. He has represented companies including Trisoft, Scantrack, Meditrax and FingerPrint Medical.

His knowledge spans single-site and Trust-level deployments, including national decontamination and clinical programmes for the traceability of reprocessed medical devices.

Darren joined Medical Intelligence Systems in 2023 and the Board of Directors in January 2025, where he shapes the company's future planning and strategic direction. He holds a Business Management Diploma.

Andrew began his career as an IT specialist, developing complex domain migration plans for Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland (HSCNI), the foundation of his expertise in healthcare IT infrastructure and systems integration.

He then served as a technical traceability manager within the NHS, primarily with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust (BHSCT), before spending more than six years as a Technical Accounts Manager in private-sector traceability.

Andrew holds a BSc in Computer Science from Ulster University. His public and private sector experience gives him a unique perspective on the challenges faced by IT departments and clinical staff alike.

With over 30 years as a software engineer, Jay specialises in cross-platform applications for desktop, web and mobile, including Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS and Android. He has supported large-scale projects handling millions of rows of data per minute, enhancing Medical Intelligence Systems' data processing models for private and government clients.

As Head of Software Development, Jay stays hands-on, developing day to day while leading the team with Agile and Scrum to ensure our software meets our coding standards and ISO accreditation.
